In August 2005, Brian Moote's mother said to him in her usual Irish sarcasm, "Well, if you think you are so funny, why don't you become a comedian then mister?" Shortly thereafter, Brian first stepped on stage and thoroughly entertained 3 people at an 11pm open-mic show. To his surprise, his stubbornness opened the door to his dream job and he worked as a professional comedian throughout his college studies. Since that night, he has worked at comedy clubs and colleges across the country. He was a part of Comedy Central's Open Mic Fight and the Maxim/Bud Light Real Men of Comedy Tour featuring Joe Rogan. He is "just a barrel of fun" says his mother, who to this day takes credit for launching him into the world of show business. He recently recorded a full length comedy album entitled “Payin’ for Grad School,” a sadly true title.
